Gummiwerk Czermak & Feger traces its origins back to the Aachen-based company Pongs & Co, which in 1944, under the leadership of Hans Feger, relocated its balloon production to Imst, Tyrol. Production resumed in 1946 after the war.
In 1949, Bruno Czermak and Hans Feger founded the present-day Gummiwerk Czermak & Feger. Alongside toy balloons and rubber products, rubber compounds were manufactured for the toy industry.
The company was the world's first to produce intricately shaped figure balloons and printed advertising balloons made from natural latex rubber, with diameters exceeding 2 meters. The high-quality screen printing technique for balloons was developed here.
Gummiwerk Czermak & Feger is an expert in processing natural latex rubber and a reliable partner for natural latex applications.
Unfortunately, the GUMMIWERK Czermak & Feger has stopped producing the very popular figure balloons due to a lack of skilled production staff. It is unclear whether and when production will begin again, but definitely not in 2023.
